Last Thursday, my Family and I decided to beat the heat and visit Legoland® Waterpark. We had such a spectacular and fun-filled day, I thought of sharing my day with you.
Since Legoland® Waterpark is open from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM we decided to leave at around 3ish so that we'd have a good 3-4 hours at the Waterpark. Turns out that was a great time to leave at since we had enough time to explore the whole Park. So before I skip ahead let me tell you the small list of necessities you need at Legoland® Waterpark.
- Sunscreen
We used Nivea Sun Lotion SPF50, 200ml
- A Towel
- Change of Clothes
- Swimsuit (Obviously. It's a waterpark for goodness sake!)
- Water Socks
This is optional. I just prefer them, rather then taking off your flip-flops every time you want to enter the water.
- Personal Hygiene Items (Shampoo, Deodorant, Hairties, etc.)
- Water-Resistant Bag or Small Backpack
Something small that won't weigh you down when you put in your wet clothes.
Okay that's all. Once you have all of these then you're ready to go.
So as I'm just a kid I don't really pay attention to things such as 'Prices' so let's just skip ahead to the RIDES, ATTRACTIONS AND RESTAURANTS!
R I D E S
Red Rush

As soon as I entered the Waterpark. This bright red slide is what caught my eye first. So I dragged my family to it. This was one of my favorite rides because not only is it fun but you can do it alongside your family or friends. You twist in a huge slide whilst sitting in a gigantic tube that raises you up and down.
Lego® Slide Racers

Okay this was one of the more thrilling and scary rides. I didn’t actually want to do it on account of it being closed a quarter of the way top. I am claustrophobic so it wasn’t a ride I was ecstatic to do. After a lot of persuasion from my family I decided to give it a try. My mom tried to convince me that it wasn’t going to be scary (which was a little hard on her part since she’s a little claustrophobic too. But she’s also a daredevil so 🤷). I shakily gripped my hands on the handles strapped to the mat. My mom stood by me and helped get me into position (Thanks Mamma ❤️). As soon as I pushed myself I was zooming through a yellow tube so fast I could hardly blink. But in a few seconds I was out into the open dropping down the track in fast motions. I was zooming so quick I thought my face was going to fly off (yes I’m serious). But after the exhilarating thrill ride I have to admit it was not that bad (Okay you were right Fam).
Tidal Tube

In case you didn’t know the Tidal Tube is the Red and Yellow slide. This slide is a closed tunnel tube where you can ride down in a tube for one or two people. My mom and I really wanted to go but my Dad and brother didn’t really want to go (I think my brother chickened out a little 😏). So it was perfect a fit since we could ride in the tube of two. The line was pretty long but it moved fast. I was getting very excited as I heard people shrieking all the way down. As soon as you can say ‘Zara Clickz’ (a little endorsement never hurt 😉) it was our turn. I sat at the front of the tube and my mom sat at the back. We zipped through twists and turns in the darkness of the tube. We squealed and yelled until we had reached to a stop. I must say this is my favorite ride at Legoland® Waterpark!
Lego® Wave Pool

The Wave Pool is very fun to just to jump around and float across. Life Jackets are provided which allows for an even more fun time as you don’t have to worry about staying afloat as the jacket does most of the work for you.
Joker Soaker

This is a fun-filled play area. Which won’t leave you dry in any corner. But the best part is the gigantic bucket that tips over every few minutes. We were lucky enough to get dunked 5-6 times!
Build-A-Raft River

Finally after your tired out because of all the rides you may want relax and laze around. And the Build-A-Raft River is the ideal way to do that. You can relax in a one/two- person tube while collecting Lego bricks on the way and building your empire. It is a really enjoyable experience.
R E S T A U R A N T / S

I know there are two restaurants one is 'Bricks Bites' and the other is 'Waves Bistro'. We only went to Bricks Bites and the pizza was really yum so I don't really have much of an opinion on which to go to since I haven't been to 'Waves Bistro'. However, I know it has burgers, salads, pita and chicken while Bricks Bites has Pizza so both sound delicious so just go to the closer one (that's what we did 😆).
